Consultancy and development of 12 sessions (6 per level) for a 2 year, 2 part program addressing self-advocacy skills and community advocacy, respectively.

Speaker’s Bureau: Hamilton Roundtable for Poverty Reduction 2012
Development outline of a 2 year, 2 part program geared to individuals with lived experience or poverty and social exclusion, to empower and engage them in community.
Year One: General communication skill, public speaking, media and personal story telling skills.
Year Two: Policy, governance, and community advocacy.

Strange City, Women’s Story of Immigration and Settlement: Immigrant Women’s Centre, Hamilton 2012
Writing and development of a 7 minute play based on interviews with 3 diverse women; exemplifying the common challenges and hopes of women’s immigrant experience in Canada.

Outreach Worker Communication Toolkit: Immigrant Women’s Centre, Hamilton 2012
Program development and delivery of a 4 session program focusing on skills needed to present to groups and conflict resolution.
